The department of tourism and resorts of Ajara realizes different projects to favor the development of one of the most popular Eco tourism varieties in Ajara, Bird watching.

Recently, Ajara has once more appeared on pages of the Polish media. The authors of the articles are Polish journalists hosted by the department of tourism and resorts of Ajara in November, 2013 as a part of the promotional campaign run by the department in Poland.

The department of tourism and resorts of Ajara is taking part in an international tourism fair "BALTTOUR 2014". Ajara will be represented at the fair together with Georgian National Tourism Administration.

The chairman of the department of tourism and resorts of Ajara is attending an international workshop in Odessa, Ukraine on February 4-9, 2014.

From January 30 to February 2 International Tourism Fair is held in Istanbul.
