From March 6, 2014 special training courses will be conducted for agro service center representatives from all five municipalities in Ajara. The project aims at favoring rural tourism development in the region and is supported by Ajara Ministry of Agriculture, Ajara Department of Tourism and Resorts and UNDP.
Ajara Guides Association together with Batumi Tourism Agency has revealed 11 certified guides on International Day of Guides. Shorena Ckhikvadze has been nominated as the most successful guide of the year.

On February 14th-16th , in the capital of Estonia, will be held the annual international tourism fair "Tourest-2014". Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara will be presented together with Georgian National Tourism Agency.
