The department of tourism and resorts of Ajara realizes different PR activities in republic of Turkey in the frames of the advertising campaign abroad. A 30-minute reportage about Ajara was broadcasted on a culinary TV program of one of the most popular TV channels in Turkey.

In April the department of tourism and resorts of Ajara hosted the group of journalists from the Polish State TV channel in the frames of the advertising campaign abroad. As a result, several TV reportages on different topics have been prepared that are broadcasted on the Polish TV channels.

In terms of cooperation Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajaria with Ideas World company, the release of mobile guide for the city of Batumi "Batumi Travel Places" is preparing. Soon, visitors of Batumi will be able to find interesting places and read the description of chosen object via smartphone.

Today, on June 14 the first charter flight of this season from Warsaw will land at Batumi International Airport. Flights will be operated till the end of the season once a week. 170 Polish tourists will stay in Batumi for a week.

The department of tourism and resorts of Ajara has recently launched a 3-month advertising campaign in Poland on the premises of Katowice Airport. Polish, as well as foreign travelers will be able to see advertising banners with slogan of Batumi: Visit it, Feel it, Love it in arrival and departure lounges of schengen as well as non schengen zones.
