The department of tourism and resorts of Ajara has recently launched a 3-month advertising campaign in Poland on the premises of Katowice Airport. Polish, as well as foreign travelers will be able to see advertising banners with slogan of Batumi: Visit it, Feel it, Love it in arrival and departure lounges of schengen as well as non schengen zones. The advertising campaign also includes distribution of promotional leaflets about Batumi and Ajara.

Notably, Katowice international airport is a hub airport in Europe serving to approximately 2.5 million passengers per year. What’s important, airline company "Wizz Air" operates direct flights from Katowice airport to Georgia (Kutaisi). The mentioned flight connection is quite popular among European tourists who are interested in visiting Ajara. Besides, the department is realizing different PR activities on the premises of Kutaisi airport in order to popularize Ajara.
