Today, on June 14 the first charter flight of this season from Warsaw will land at Batumi International Airport. Flights will be operated till the end of the season once a week. 170 Polish tourists will stay in Batumi for a week. Warsaw-Batumi direct charter flights have been planned and operated in the frames of advertising campaign in Poland run by the Department of tourism and resorts of Ajara.

Department of Tourism and resorts of Ajara will arrange a solemn meeting with traditional Ajarian sweets and special tourist packages depicting tourism potential of our region. Despite the fact that summer season is not still in an active phase the number of Polish tourists increased to 46% compared with last year. This number is expected to increase by the end of the season.
