Tour operators from Azerbaijan and Belarus got acquainted with the region's hotel capacity, visited various sightseeing places, together with Georgian cuisine they got acquainted with the region's folklore, met and established business relationships with the local tour operators.
Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara starts first stage of trainings, scheduled within 2014 year budget with a view to improve the service level in tourism sphere. From March 31 till April 9 trainings including theoretical and practical courses will be conducted for 50 waiters.
From April 1 to April 5 under the organization of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara A. R. representatives of 20 Ukrainian tour operators are visiting Batumi.
On April 3-5, the department of tourism and resorts of Ajara A. R. is participating in Azerbaijan International Tourism Fair "AITF 2014" taking place in Baku Expo Center together with Georgian National Tourism Administration.
On March 28th-30th Departament of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara with the status of the friend region will participate in the 20th International Tourism Exhibiton "GLOBalnie 2014" held in Poland, Katowice.
