Before starting summer season the department of tourism and resorts of Ajara has hosted up to 300 foreign tour operators and journalists. It is noteworthy that only from Ukraine 5 study tours have been conducted.
Due to negotiations held by the department of tourism and resorts of Ajara, one of the biggest Polish tour operators "Rainbow Tours" is launching 2 charter flights from three Polish cities: Warsaw, Poznan and Katowice.
From June 13, one of the biggest Polish tour operators "ITAKA" is starting charter flights in direction of Warsaw-Batumi. Flights will be operated once a week. As a result, 189 Polish tourists will visit our region weekly.
In the frames of the memorandum signed between the government of Ajara and Dnepropetrovsk city council from June 4 direct flights are starting from Dnepropetrovsk to Batumi.
Summer Tourist Season has been officially opened under the organization of the department of tourism and resorts of Ajara. Numerous sport and entertaining activities were conducted on the territory of “"Miracle Park".
