On March 26th-28th Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara together with Georgian National Tourism Agency will participate in Ukraine International Tourism Exhibition - UITT 2014.
On March 22nd, on the fourth floor of the multi-functional building "Batumi Plaza", new hotel of modern standards was opened. "Plaza Hotel" consists of 52 rooms and offers single, double, as well as suite and semi-lux types of rooms.
In the frames of the marketing activities of 2014, Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara A. R. started the organization of the press tours. First press tour visits Ajara from Israel on March 13th-15th.
The Department is taking part in "Cruise Shipping Miami 2014". It is the premier exhibition for companies seeking to or currently doing business with the international cruise industry.
On March 5, at 11 AM, the meeting of regional tourism advisory board was held at the department of tourism and resorts of Ajara. During the meeting the chairman of the department presented to the board plans for 2014 while summarizing the results of the previous year.
