In the frames of the marketing activities of 2014, Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara A. R. started the organization of the press tours. First press tour visits Ajara from Israel on March 13^th-15^th.

15 journalists from Israel are interested in the popularization of the regions tourism potential. In the Department of Tourism and Resorts, special presentation was held for the mentioned journalists, who will also see city sights and touristic zones. Israel is one of the important tourism target markets of Ajara. Besides of the organization of the press tours, department also organizes advertisement campaign in Israel and takes part in the international tourism exhibition held in Tel-Aviv. For the further popularization of the region, Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara will organize 20 different press and info tours in the spring period.
