The Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara is taking part in one of the major cruise tourism trade shows "Cruise Shipping Miami 2014". It is the premier exhibition for companies and organizations seeking to or currently doing business with the international cruise industry. This year, Batumi will be presented on a joint stand of the Black Sea Basin together ports of Odessa and Burgas. The joint participation will increase the efficiency of participation in the fair at the same favoring creation and development of a joint product for the future.

Notably, the department realizes different activities for stimulating cruise tourism development in the region by taking part in different cruise tourism exhibitions and conferences as well as by advertising Batumi in the leading cruise publication "Seatrade Cruise Review".
