On 5-8th April Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara A. R. organized two info-tours. Tour operators from Azerbaijan and Belarus got acquainted with the region's hotel capacity, visited various sightseeing places, together with Georgian cuisine they got acquainted with the region's folklore, met and established business relationships with the local tour operators.
Tour operators will develop special programs for the region's tourism potential to attract tourists.
Organizing info tour by the department is one of the marketing activities. It should be noted that Azerbaijan and Belarus are region`s important tourist markets, where the Department of Tourism and Resorts Department conducts advertising campaigns and participating in tourism fairs.
