PROJECT PRESENTATION: "Black Sea Network for Sustainable Tourism - Strategies for joint tourism marketing and development in the Black Sea region"
International Business Development and Investment Promotion Center (IBDIPC)
is starting regional project "Black Sea Network for Sustainable Tourism - Strategies for joint tourism marketing and development in the Black Sea region (BS NST)" which aims to facilitate development of Eco and Agro Tourism in Georgia (Ajara region), Ukraine, Turkey, Moldova and Bulgaria.
The project is financed by "Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme 2007-2013
" under the European Neighborhood & Partnership Instrument (ENPI)
of the EU
. This is regional project which will be implemented during 18 months through close cooperation of project partners from Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Turkey. The project in Georgia is implemented by IBDIPC in cooperation with Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara A. R.![]()
The major goal of project is aachieving stronger regional partnership and cooperation among regions in Black Sea Basin for sustainable tourism management and joint marketing strategy focused on PPP. Project main activities include - tourism marketing researches, Development different type of tourism oriented training packages and organizing trainings, elaborating joint marketing strategy for region for tourism promotion and setting up joint internal platform, arranging study visits in project partner countries to share experiences and develop joint tour products.
The presentation of Project is planned in Batumi on 21 February, 11.00 am at Hotel Radisson Blue
. At presentation will be attended representatives of local government, Batumi municipality, private and non-governmental sector etc.
