Batumi is hosting approximately 40 tourists under organization of the German travel company “Eastern Adventure”.  The company specializes in caravan tours giving possibility to tourists to learn about culture and history of different countries. 

The department of tourism and resorts of Ajara A. R. has summarized the articles published in Polish printing media during 2013. The majority of articles were uploaded periodically on the department’s official web page. 

Cruise ship VOYAGER has entered Batumi Sea Port today. Organized tour was implemented by the tourism agency “Achara Tour” and 11 tourist destinations was planned to visit. The ship started the voyage from Russia and from Batumi will move to Turkey. 

International donor conference “Ajara cooperation for growth 2013” was held on October 18, at Radisson Blue Hotel, Batumi. During the conference participants discussed main strategic priorities, ongoing and planned projects and future project proposals. 

Representatives of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara participate in the International Tourism Fair “Poznan Tour Salon-2013”, which is held in Poznan, Poland from 17-19 October.
