IBDIPC (International Business Development and Investment Promotion Center) is doing tourism consumer survey "Wine Tourism in Georgia".
The survey is done under the project ""Black Sea Network for Sustainable Tourism - Strategies for joint tourism marketing and development in the Black Sea region" (BS NST)". The project is supported by "Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme 2007-2013", under the European Neighborhood & Partnership Instrument (ENPI) of the EU. This is regional project, which will be implemented during 18 months through cooperation of partners from Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Turkey. Project partner in Georgia is Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara AR.
Survey will provide necessary database for analyses of current situation in wine tourism sector. This can serve as a marketing tool for organizations working in this sphere to plan their marketing activities and improve services.
