From April 1 to April 5 under the organization of the department of tourism and resorts of Ajara A.R. representatives of 20 Ukrainian tour operators are visiting Batumi. In the frames of the study tour guests will get acquainted with tourism potential of the region through visiting tourist attractions, hotels and other facilities of the region. The meeting with local tour operators and travel agencies has been scheduled on April 3, at 3 PM with organization of the department.

It is noteworthy, that Ukraine is one of the most important target markets of the region. Together with organizing study tours from Ukraine, the department realizes an advertising campaign in Ukraine. In total, the department plans to organize up to 20 familiarization trips for foreign tour operators and press representative with a view to popularize Ajara and Batumi on an international market.
