The department of tourism and resorts of Ajara is starting training courses for guesthouse owners in villages aimed for rural tourism development and service quality improvement. The first stage of trainings will be held on November 1-3 in village Sakhalvasho. The next step of trainings will be held in Shuakhevi (4-6 November) and in Keda (7-8 November). Notably, the department of tourism and resorts is realizing the similar activity for the first time. As a result, 40 people from all 5 municipalities immediately involved in rural tourism will be trained. In total, the department plans to conduct trainings for approximately 230 people engaged in tourism industry.
