The department of tourism and resorts of Ajara is realizing a special marketing campaign aimed at attracting domestic tourists in winter and New Year period. The project "The season of unparalleled discounts in Ajara" is supported by the government of Ajara and it will stimulate the private sector while attracting domestic tourists during off-season period.

In the frames of the project "The season of unparalleled discounts in Ajara" hotels offer from 30% up to 50% discount from December 27 till the end of February. Besides hotels, the visitors are offered discounts at different tourist attractions, as well as free attendance at concerts and cultural activities.

From December 27 to January 11 for the first time in Ajara European-type Christmas exhibition-market will be organized on Europe Square for celebrating New Year. Free concerts will be conducted by ensemble “Shini”, ensemble “Batumi”, Mgzavrebi”, “Frani”, “City Band”, “Goofy Land”, “Antibiotic” and so on, while a popular Ukrainian band “Via Gra” will finish free New Year concerts on January 11.
