On April 20-22 leading journalists from Belorussia are visiting Batumi upon the invitation of the department of tourism and resorts of Ajara Autonomous Republic. The aim of the mentioned tour is to showcase tourism potential of our region, local cuisine, folklore and tourist attractions.

The journalists have attended presentations at Ajara Ministry of Economics and Department of Tourism about investment environment and tourism potential of the region. As a result of the study tour the journalists will publish special articles about Ajara to popularize our region in Belorussia.

Belorussia is one of the target tourist markets of our region. The department realizes TV, radio, internet and outdoor advertising campaign in Belorussia. It is noteworthy, that Batumi-Ajara has deserved special attention at an international tourism fair in Minsk.
