On May 20-22, Frankfurt is hosting one of the largest in the world MICE tourism exhibitions “IMEX-2014”. The department of tourism and resorts of Ajara A.R. is represented in the exhibition on the stand of Georgian National Tourism Administration together with Batumi Tourism Agency.

It is important to note, that Ajara regions possess big MICE tourism potential. Well developed infrastructure and opening of world brand chain hotels are to further develop MICE tourism in Ajara. Consequently, participation in IMEX is important from the point of raising awareness of the region as well as attracting parties involved in MICE tourism.
