The "Batumi Backyard Stories" is a cultural initiative that brings together working process of artists in public space-in Batumi yards and streets. In the frames of the project Georgian and foreign artists together with inhabitants of backyards will interpret interesting personal histories, photo materials of families, household stuff, urban environment of backyard and daily life on artists’ language.

The project was opened on August 11 and will last for 10 days. 12 artists in cooperation with inhabitants of backyards will create group and individual works that will be published for 3 days in backyards and streets.

The project is realized with support of Ajara ministry of education, culture and sport and embassy of America in Georgia.
