On July 25-26 the department of tourism and resorts of Ajara Autonomous Republic is hosting leading journalists from Belorussia. The aim of the mentioned tour is to showcase tourism potential of our region, local cuisine, folklore and tourist attractions.

On July 26, the journalists will attend presentation at the department about Ajara tourism potential. The journalists will prepare special reportages and articles about the region in the nearest future.

Belorussia is one of the target tourist markets of our region. During 2014 the department realized TV, radio, internet and outdoor advertising campaign in Belorussia in April-May. It is noteworthy, that Batumi-Ajara deserved special attention at an international tourism fair in Minsk. Respectively, the number of Belorussian tourists has been significantly increased.
