Kutaisi David The Builder International Airport has already become one of the main sources for tourist inflow in Georgia. Low cost airline "Wizz Air" is starting a new season of 2014 with news. On March 31, a new route Vilnius- Kutaisi was launched giving a chance to tourists from the Baltic countries interested in Georgia to take the mentioned flights twice a week on Fridays and Mondays. Number of flights has been also increased in direction of Poland. Warsaw will be operated three times a week and Katowice twice per week. Moreover, regular flights are realized in direction of Ukraine, 5 times per week from Kiev and twıce from Kharkiv.

According to the information of the departmetn of tourism and resorts of Ajara conisderable part of foreign tourists use Wizz Air’s flights to reach Batumi.

It should be noted, that Wizz Air keeps the tendecny of adding flights in different directions. A new route Kutaisi-Budapest is scheduled for September, 2014.
