A new cable way has been opened connecting Batumi sea coast with Peria Mount. The construction of the cable way started in April 2012 while an entertaining complex "Argo" has been in the process of arrangement since June, 2010. Austrian company Doppelmayr has performed all works including purchase and installation of all necessary equipments.

The cable way is owned by the company "Hestok Batumi" who invested 23 million Gels in the mentioned project. The price for adults is 3 Gels and 1.5 Gels for children while descending from Peria Mount is free.

The cable way is 2600 m long with 8 gondolas. It will go down from 260 m height serving 500 people per hour.
