According to the information of the department of tourism and resorts of Ajara this year tourist attractions have recorded an exceptionally increased number of tourists.
The following tourist attractions can be singled out in terms of number of tourists in August:
- Batumi Botanical Garden: 64 801 visitors
- Batumi Dolphinarium: 59 058 visitors
- Batumi Cableway: 56 451 visitors
- Gonio Fortress: 20677 visitors
Comparing the data of January-August of 2014 with the same period of 2013 we get the following picture:

- Batumi Botanical Garden: 6% increase - 158 886 (2014)
- Batumi Dolphinarium: 30% increase - 109 721 (2014)
- Gonio Fortress: 17% increase - 53 006 (2014)
- Mtirala National Park: 49% increase - 18 387 (2014)
