On January 24-25, the representatives of the department of tourism and resorts of Ajara are attending the Black Sea cruise platform meeting held in Trabzon, Republic of Turkey.

Notably, the Black Sea Basin has a high potential of cruise tourism. Moreover, the interest towards cruise tourism on the international level is likely to increase. The Black Sea cruise platform meeting will give the opportunity to work together for finding the ways to promote the countries of the Black sea basin on the global market. In addition, the mentioned meeting will favor working out common policy in cruise tourism and enhancing the communication and cooperation between the ports and chambers of commerce of the relevant cities.
