On May 23-25, 14 tour operators from Kazakhstan will visit Batumi. With support of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara they will meet representatives of local tour companies. The mentioned study tour is organized by Georgian National Administration while the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara will host the guests for two days in order to promote the region’s tourism potential, tourist attractions and natural richness. It should be noted, that Kazakhstan is one of the tourist target markets of the department. According to statistics the number of tourists from Kazakhstan is increasing every year.
