GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The monument Ali and Nino, symbol of love, understanding and peace between nations, has become one of the most interesting tourist attractions of Batumi. 7 meter high moving monument of man and woman is the work of famous Georgian sculptor Tamar Kvesitadze. The monument is named according to Kurban Said’s well known novel "Ali and Nino". It was put up in 2010 and together with love; it has become the symbol of connection between Europe and Asia.
